Children's and Teen's Initiation

- for children and teens who have not received the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist and Penance at the usual age of reception, there is a special discernment process available that is a part of the Christian Initiation of Adults. This process of preparation, known as R.C.I.C (Rite of Christian Initiation of Children) facilitates full initiation into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil and is designed for children and teens with no previous formal instruction in the Catholic faith. Parent involvement is a vital part of this preparation. This "Special Sacrements" class meets 7:15 - 8:15 PM Tuesdays starting September 18, 2007.

Adult Initiation

- for adults who are seeking to know more about the Catholic Church as well as adults wishing to convert to Catholicism, this process of discernment, instructions, prayer, and mentoring will assist them in this endeavor. This is a nine-month-long process, known as R.C.I.A. (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) culminates with the sacraments of initiation celebrated at the Easter Vigil.
