The Lector Ministry at St John's comprises men, women, and young adults called to proclaim the Word of God to their fellow parishioners. The lector proclaims the Word of God from the Scriptures during Mass, and also assists in reading the General Intercessions and announcements.

The lector ministry is a great opportunity to serve the St John the Apostle community. The participants experience a joy that comes through serving the Lord and others. We are asked to grow in a knowledge of Scripture, which is the living Word of God.
